Our History
Claydon Business Park was acquired by Edward Le Bas Properties Limited in 1982 with a vision of turning the former 38-acre industrial estate into a mixed use, business-friendly space. As a result of this vision, investment was made to refurbish and improve approximately 200,000 square feet of the office buildings, factories and warehouses that were acquired. The grounds were landscaped, blending the business park into the vibrant Suffolk landscape surrounding it. The improvements accommodated around 70 business park tenants who benefitted from the location and amenities of the park.
Today
The success of the park, due to the investment and vision of Edward Le Bas Properties Limited, was proven by continuous demand and high occupancy levels for over 15 years. The success was so great that in 1998, £10 million in funding was secured to develop a further 160,000 square feet of new and efficient buildings for tenants. Road layout, security and further amenities for tenants were also improved, making Claydon Business Park what it is today – a modern hub for business in the heart of Suffolk.
The Future
As times change, we welcome new innovations and ways to connect to our tenants to keep Claydon Business Park evolving. We believe that the success of the park is linked directly to the success of our tenants. Even in tough economic conditions, our vison continues to be improving the park in order that our success is mutually maintained.
